Finance and Accounts Head

Job Summary:

The Finance and Accounts Head is responsible for managing the company’s financial health, overseeing the preparation and analysis of financial reports, budgets, and forecasts. This role ensures compliance with financial regulations and contributes to strategic financial planning.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Financial Planning & Analysis:
    • Lead the financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes.
    • Analyse financial data and provide insights to senior management for decision-making.
    • Monitor cash flow and advise on financial strategies to maintain liquidity.
  2. Accounting Operations:
    • Oversee day-to-day accounting activities, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll.
    • Ensure timely and accurate preparation of financial statements, balance sheets, and profit and loss statements.
    • Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal policies.
  3. Reporting & Compliance:
    • Ensure compliance with local and international financial regulations, tax laws, and corporate governance practices.
    • Prepare financial reports for internal stakeholders (e.g., CEO, CFO, board members).
    • Coordinate external audits and manage relationships with auditors and tax consultants.
  4. Risk Management & Internal Controls:
    • Identify and mitigate financial risks, including credit, operational, and market risks.
    • Establish and maintain robust internal controls and processes to safeguard company assets and ensure accurate financial reporting.
  5. Team Leadership & Management:
    • Lead and manage the finance and accounting team.
    • Provide guidance, training, and mentorship to team members to ensure professional growth and development.
    • Set performance objectives, monitor team performance, and implement improvements as needed.
  6. Strategic Decision Support:
    • Work closely with senior management to align financial strategy with business objectives.
    • Provide insights and recommendations for investment opportunities, cost-saving initiatives, and financial growth strategies.
    • Assist in merger and acquisition (M&A) activities, due diligence, and post-merger integration.

 

 7. Cash Flow Management:

    • Manage liquidity and optimize the capital structure.
    • Oversee short-term and long-term investment strategies.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field (Master’s or CPA preferred).
  • Minimum of 10-15 years of experience in financial management, with at least 7 – 9 years in a senior leadership role.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, and tax laws.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks).
  • Experience with financial modelling, budgeting, and forecasting.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Leadership and team management experience.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Job Summary:

The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) is responsible for the strategic leadership of the company’s financial planning, risk management, record-keeping, and financial reporting. The CFO will play a key role in driving financial performance, ensuring compliance, and supporting long-term business growth and profitability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement the company’s financial strategy aligned with business goals.
  • Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
  • Oversee financial reporting to internal and external stakeholders, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations (e.g., GAAP, IFRS).
  • Monitor and manage cash flow, capital structure, and investment strategies.
  • Ensure effective risk management through insurance, legal, and internal controls.
  • Work closely with the CEO and executive team to drive business performance and decision-making.
  • Lead audits and coordinate with external auditors, tax advisors, and financial institutions.
  • Manage relationships with investors, banks, and other financial partners.
  • Build and lead a high-performing finance team.
  • Assess and improve financial systems, ERP tools, and operational efficiency.
  • Advise on mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures, and other strategic financial initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or CA Completion.
  • CPA, CFA, or equivalent certification strongly preferred.
  • 15 years of senior financial leadership experience (ideally including CFO or VP Finance role).
  • Proven experience in strategic financial planning and corporate finance.
  • In-depth knowledge of financial regulations, accounting standards, and compliance requirements.
  • Strong leadership, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Experience in managing investor relations and fundraising (especially for publicly traded or private equity-backed companies, if applicable).

Preferred Experience:

  • Experience in Manufacturing.
  • Prior involvement in IPO, M&A, or high-growth scaling environments.
  • Familiarity with financial software such as SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, QuickBooks Enterprise, or similar ERP systems.

Job Purpose:

To lead and drive sales & marketing operations of the PUF Panel division, expand market presence across assigned regions, achieve revenue targets, and strengthen customer relationships through strategic planning and execution.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement sales & marketing strategies for the PUF Panel division in the assigned states (KA, TN, AP, TS).
  • Identify new business opportunities, customer segments, and potential projects in industrial, commercial, and infrastructure sectors.
  • Lead, manage, and motivate the regional sales team to achieve monthly/quarterly/annual targets.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with architects, consultants, contractors, project management consultants (PMCs), builders, and end-users.
  • Monitor competitor activities, market trends, and customer needs to provide inputs for product development and pricing strategies.
  • Coordinate with production, supply chain, and logistics teams to ensure timely deliveries and customer satisfaction.
  • Represent the company in trade shows, exhibitions, and industry forums to enhance brand visibility.
  • Ensure adherence to company policies, compliance, and ethical sales practices.
  • Prepare sales forecasts, budgets, and MIS reports for management review.

Desired Candidate Profile:

  • Qualification: Graduate in Engineering / MBA in Sales & Marketing preferred.
  • Experience: 8–15 years in Sales & Marketing, with at least 5 years in PUF Panels, Roofing, Building Materials, or allied industries.
  • Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets in B2B/project sales.
  • Strong network with consultants, contractors, and industrial clients.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to travel extensively across assigned states.
